Product Reviews

Here are a few of the products that I regularly use, along with my unbiased evaluation. I purchased all of my products at market prices and have received no kickbacks or compensation in any form. Unlike most hunting articles and TV shows that can be hard to distinguish from an infomercial, I do not have sponsors that need to be satisfied. My goal is to give you the unvarnished truth so you can make a better buying decision. I will be adding more product reviews in the future. When I purchased my land I wanted a UTV that could do double duty - chores around the farm, plus a silent way to get back into the remote tree stands in the middle of my property. The electric ranger seemed like a great option. Well, not everything works out well in the end! Read the review.

Redneck Buck Palace Platinum 360 Degree 6x6 Blind

With a few deer hotspots on my land that looked great, but didn’t have a suitable tree for a stand, I was in the market for an elevated box blind. I did my research and the blinds manufactured by Redneck emerged as the best. Read the review.

The Butt Out 2

The Butt Out 2 is made by Hunter’s Specialties. I saw one used by a guide back in 2008 and it made short work of a job I’d always found difficult. Now it’s the easiest part of field dressing a deer, and I don’t damage any meat. Read the review.
